Spicy Celery Salad


This is a super easy, super tasty, super low calorie salad that you can make in minutes. Even if you're one of those people who think they 'hate' celery, this might change your mind. Leftovers make for great sandwich condiments or a topping for your avocado toast.


Ingredients:

1 bunch of celery, washed, gross parts cut off

1 Tbsp chili oil (if you don't have, just mix some hot sauce and oil)

1 Tbsp soy sauce

1 Tbsb rice vinegar

Sliced almonds

Sesame seeds


Instructions:

1- Slice the celery, thinly. I used a mandoline because I'm a cookbook author/food blogger, and had to take a pic. You don't have to risk cutting your finger, just use a knife, or do whatever makes you happy.

2- Place the celery in a bowl, add the chili oil, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Stir to combine. Taste and add a pinch of salt if you feel like you need it. Add more chili oil if you need more heat.

3- Garnish with almonds and sesame seeds.
