Oven Fried Cauliflower
I was in the mood for a crispy, crunchy, kind-of-decadent fried cauliflower last night, but I wasn’t in the mood for all the grease that usually comes with that. And I’d just cleaned the kitchen, so I didn’t want to deal with any fry spatter. I went with the oven fry option, and gave it some extra flavor by going a little heavy with the smoked paprika. Check out this super easy, super flavorful version of oven fried cauliflower.
Ingredients-
1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
Olive oil cooking spray
1 cup panko breadcrumbs (use regular breadcrumbs if that’s all you have)
2 eggs
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 shake Adobo
Instructions-
1. Preheat oven to 400F
2. Spray the cauliflower with a mist of cooking spray
3. Combine the panko, eggs, paprika, salt, and adobo in a small bowl. Stir it up until it becomes like a paste.
4. Press the breadcrumb mixture into the cauliflower pieces, covering the crowns.
5. Line a baking tray and bake the cauliflower for 30-40 minutes.
