You don’t have to know the first thing about cooking to make this happen. A pineapple is already naturally delicious. Add some cinnamon and coconut oil and caramelize the natural sugars by grilling it and you’ll win every BBQ this summer.
1 whole pineapple
2 T coconut oil
Let’s butcher this pineapple. Start by cutting off the ends.
Use a sharp knife to cut the thing into quarters, making sure to cut around that hard core part. Throw that mess out.
Use the knife to cut the skin away, and slice each piece in half lengthwise. You now have 8 peeled pineapple wedges.
Get a grill pan really hot.
Shake some cinnamon over the pineapple pieces. Rub them until coated.
Melt your coconut oil in the grill pan. Drop the pineapple in. Grill for 4 minutes on each side.
