Acai Breakfast Bowl


4 Haole servings or 2 Big Braddah Bowls

Howzit braddah and sistah? Need ya brecky grindz fo’ da juicy waves today? This one is ono, not like those bogus Jamba Juice Acai Bowls. Don’t need sweetener, no agave or stevia or any bogus. All natural. Antioxidants, brah!*

This is basically a healthy ice cream sundae you can eat for breakfast, guilt-free. E ʻai kākou! (Let’s eat!)

*Have you been to Hawaii? Hawaiians only have 18 letters in their alphabet. Which is phonetic. I’m not saying they’re not smart, only that they don’t waste time on stuff that gets in the way of surfing.

Ingredients:

2 packages frozen Acai

1 ripe (overripe is even better) banana

1 C blueberries

1 C strawberries

1 C red grapes

1 C coconut water

½ C unsweetened coconut flakes

1 C Muesli (that’s granola for Europeans)

4 T Smooth peanut butter

Sliced strawberries

Blueberries

Instructions:

  1. Blend the acai, banana, berries, grapes and coconut flakes and water until smooth.

  2. Pour 1 cup of acai mix into 4 bowls.

  3. Top with Muesli, peanut butter and berries.
